Jeff Frank, national coordinator for the Friends of the Landless Peasants’ Movement (MST) and attorney with the National Lawyers Guild, will analyze current conditions in Brazil by briefly covering its history from the 1964 military coup d’état to the present, focusing on the parliamentary coup d’état of 2016 and its aftermath. He will examine the Bolsonaro regime and the neo-fascist methods of implementing the neo-liberal agenda of finance capital.
