Chicago Racist U.S. Capitalism on Trial

Join the Chicago Chapter of the IMHO for an online Zoom-meeting on…

Racist U.S. Capitalism on Trial

The police murder of George Floyd, the growing national rebellion, and the need to transform society

The murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police happened in the midst of a pandemic that is disproportionately impacting people of color. These offenses further expose all of the injustices and inequities that define U.S. capitalism which are promoted by our authoritarian president Donald Trump. Join us for a discussion of the resistance to these developments set off by the Minneapolis Rebellion and other ongoing efforts to develop a revolutionary alternative to this decrepit system. Marxist-Humanism’s half-century legacy in Black revolt and Black thought will ground the discussion.
