[Chicago] Theoretical and Practical Perspectives for Overcoming Capitalism

Leading the discussion:
J Turk, International Marxist-Humanist Organizer

Sunday | June 5 | 6 p.m.
111 North Wabash Ave | Suite 909 (Chicago Loop)

Protests against police abuse and resurgence of interest in the idea of socialism as well as new developments in the feminist and LGBTQI movements can become the basis for developing a viable alternative to capitalism. They also challenge the retrogressive power of the racist, anti-immigrant Right in the U.S. and elsewhere. Join us for analysis and discussion of how this upsurge calls for new concepts about human liberation.
