[Los Angeles] Public Reading Group on “Rosa Luxemburg, Women’s Liberation, and Marx’s Philosophy of Revolution”

Continuing on Sunday, June 6, 2021 6-8:00 PM, Los Angeles Time

 

This session will take up chapter 10, “A Decade of Historic Transformation: From the ‘Grundrisse’ to ‘Capital’,” from Raya Dunayevskaya’s classic book, “Rosa Luxemburg, Women’s Liberation, and Marx’s Philosophy of Revolution.“We will be discussing her Marxist-Humanist interpretation of these core works in Marx’s critique of political economy, with special emphasis on his analysis of Asian societies, of communism, and of the French edition of “Capital.”

With introductory remarks by Kris Gardner, organizer at the International Marxist-Humanist Organization and creative designer

About the series:

We began meeting biweekly in fall 2020 to read Marxist and feminist philosopher Raya Dunayevskaya’s classic book, “Rosa Luxemburg, Women’s Liberation, and Marx’s Philosophy of Revolution.”  We are now continuing this series.
