We are now in the era of AI and digitalization. How can we view these phenomena in light of Marx and Marxist-Humanism’s critique of capitalist machine production, automation, and robotization? How do these processes enhance capital’s control over labor, also creating heightened alienation and unemployment amid low-waged and overworked working classes? What are some similarities and differences across global capitalism? If these new developments strengthen the power of capital and the state, how can they be resisted? Do they unleash any new forms of revolutionary subjectivity as well?
