[Chicago] With What Does “Capital” Begin? – A Reading Group on Marx’s “Capital”

Today’s political social, and ecological realities clearly indicate that an alternative to capitalism-imperialism is urgently needed. Developing such an alternative calls for a deeper understanding of what drives the logic of capital and the potential barriers that stand in its path. Few works better address these questions than Volume One of Marx’s Capital, which this reading group will explore through a series of open discussions. As we fight racism, sexism, and rising neo-fascism, revolutionary ideas are needed more than ever. Bring your questions, insights, and ideas!

All readings are available for free as pdf files from the IMHO.
