Make the Nationwide strike on July 7 a success!

Dear worker comrades,

Let us to comprehend the deeds of Prime Minister Modi:

Before Modi came to power, the country had a debt of 55 lakh crore. After his arrival, the debt has risen to 225 lakh crore. This means the country’s leaders and capitalists are squandering borrowed money, and the burden of repayment falls on the exploited masses and workers.

In 11 years, Modi ji has waived off 16 lakh crore in loans. This waiver benefits corporate houses like Mukesh Ambani, Adani, and Tata Industries.

He has handed over public assets at throwaway prices to private hands, such as Air India, several airports, and railway stations, all of which have been transferred to the country’s capitalists.

He has used government institutions like IT, ED, CBI, and the judiciary according to their whims: Earlier, permission from the government was required to lay off 100 workers. Now, this limit has been increased to 300 workers. Earlier, a 14-day notice was required for a strike. Now, a 60-day notice is mandatory. All conditions in the appointment letter will be binding on the worker, and permanent workers will be replaced with temporary workers. By amending labor laws, workers have been deprived of their rights.

Additionally, through demonetization, Modi has harassed the poor, exploited masses, and workers, while enabling the wealthy to convert black money into white. Through India Goods and Services Tax (GST), he has broken the backbone of poor workers, and the collected GST is not being deposited into the government’s account.

There are many such actions taken by Modi that favor the wealthy and harm workers. We do not support capitalist actions in any form, but we also do not shy away from issues concerning workers.

Come, let us participate in the strike with these demands:

(1) Right to equality—intensify the fight for economic and social equality.

(2) Include work, food, housing, education, and healthcare in fundamental rights.

(3) Reduce the vast gap between the salaries of workers and directors, aiming for a salary ratio of 1:3.

(4) Fight for a living wage instead of a minimum wage for the country’s workers.

There will be many such demands from time to time, and we workers will continue to raise our demands as per the need. But for now, let us dedicate ourselves—body, mind, and resources—to  unite and move forward for the strike on July 9, 2025.
